The National Council for Women (NCW) participated in the "Diarna" exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Social Solidarity in partnership with ALEXBANK in New Cairo, during the period from February 25 to March 11, 2023, to showcase women's products.

    NCW’s pavilion included a section to display women’s products from handicraft trainings in Alexandria and Aswan Governorates within the National Programme for the « Egyptian Family Development ».

   NCW's pavilion also included a live show by women beneficiaries from vocational training programmes within the “Addressing the Economic Drivers of Irregular Migration” project in partnership with the European Union (EU), in Luxor and Gharbia, where women produced a "Ramadan lantern" using Macramé technique, in addition to another live show in which Luxor women produced chains using beads and loom.

The pavilion also included a display of products by three women entrepreneurs (jewelry, crochet clothes and carpets).

NCW's pavilion was acclaimed by the audience for the quality of the products and their distinctive and unique shapes.
