في إطار برنامج "تحويشة": إطلاق النسخة الثانية من "تحدي تجديف النيل" للتوعية ببرنامج "تحويشة" ورفع الوعى البيئي

نظم المجلس القومي للمرأة النسخة الثانية من "تحدي تجديف نهر النيل" والذى ينطلق من محافظة أسوان وحتى رأس البر، وذلك في إطار وبرنامج "تحويشة" تحت مظلة المشروع القومي لتنمية الأسرة المصرية  بالتعاون مع البنك المركزي وهيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة وبالشراكة مع الاتحاد الأوروبي وسفارة مملكة هولندا والبنك الزراعي المصري وشركة e-finance .

  هذا ويقوم بالتجديف أبطال مصر في رياضة التجديف حاتم قنديل و إبراهيم أيوب بمشاركة عددًا من الشباب والشابات بالمحافظات من أعمار مختلفة، وتتضمن نقاط التوقف مناطق بعدد من المحافظات مثل الأقصر، قنا، سوهاج، أسيوط، المنيا، بني سويف، القاهرة، القليوبية، الدقهلية ودمياط.

وتهدف المبادرة إلى رفع الوعي البيئي والحفاظ علي نهر النيل، وذلك  استعدادًا لاستضافة مصر للمؤتمر السابع والعشرين للدول الأطراف في اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة الإطارية بشأن تغير المناخ (COP27) والمقرر عقدة في نوفمبر القادم. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، يتم تنفيذ فعاليات المبادرة في إطار تفعيل مشروع "تحويشة" لتعزيز الشمول المالي للسيدات في القري المصرية ، ويستمر تحدي التجديف لمدة 30 يومًا خلال الفترة من منتصف سبتمبر وحتى منتصف شهر أكتوبر المقبل، ويتوقف فى عدد من المحطات بالمحافظات المختلفة لعرض قصص النجاح والأنشطة الخضراء المتناهية الصغر والصغيرة الصديقة للبيئة في القرى الريفية على طول ضفة نهر النيل.

 هذا ويلقى التحدي الضوء علي عدة أنشطة هادفة على رأسها برنامج "تحويشة" الذي ينفذه المجلس ضمن برنامج الشمول المالي و تحت مظلة المشروع القومي لتنمية الأسرة المصرية فى النطاق الجغرافي للمبادرة الرئاسية حياة كريمة، بالشراكة مع البنك المركزي وهيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة وبدعم من الاتحاد الأوروبي وسفارة مملكة هولندا وهو يعد أحد أكبر المشروعات الاقتصادية التنموية التي تهدف إلى التمكين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي للمرأة من خلال تكوين مجموعات الإدخار والإقراض الرقمي، ومنها مجموعات إنتاجية خضراء وذكية. ومن خلال التحدي، تقوم مشرفات وميسرات برنامج "تحويشة"  بتوصيل أهداف البرنامج إلى السيدات بالمحافظات.

 كما يسعى التحدى إلى إدماج المشروعات الخضراء والدعوة الي زيادة نسبتها بهدف الحفاظ علي البيئة والانتقال العادل من خلال تحسين نوعية الحياة ومراعاة حقوق الأجيال القادمة، و أهمية ربطها بالمشروعات الاقتصادية التنموية مثل برنامج "تحويشة" إلى جانب تعزيز العنصر التكنولوجي تماشيًا مع رؤية الدولة فى التحول الرقمي للوصول إلى قرى خضراء وذكية وغير نقدية.  ويعد" تحدي تجديف نهر النيل" أيضاً هو نقطة البداية لتسليط الضوء على أهمية الرياضة لتمكين السيدات والفتيات بالمحافظات والقرى ، بالإضافة إلى إبراز الأماكن السياحية الجميلة علي ضفاف النيل.

Within the framework of “Ta7wish” programme: Launching the second edition of “Rowing the Nile Challenge” to let the community know more about “Ta7wisha” and raise environmental awareness

Cairo, 28 September 2022- The National Council for Women organized the second edition of “Rowing the Nile Challenge” which has started from Aswan and will continue till Ras El-bar, within the framework of “Ta7wisha” programme, in line with the “National Family Development” project, and in partnership with the Central Bank of Egypt, UN Women Egypt, the European Union, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Agricultural Bank of Egypt and e-finance.

“Rowing the Nile Challenge” is led by the Egyptian rowing champions Hatem Kandeel and Ibrahim Ayoub, with the participation of a number of young men and women in the governorates. The rowing team will pass by stops in several governorates such as Luxor, Qena, Sohag, Assuit, Minya, Beni Suef, Cairo, Qalubeya, Dakhleya and Damietta.

The Initiative aims at raising the awareness around preserving the Nile and saving the environment in general, in line with COP27 which Egypt is hosting this November. In addition, the events implemented within the initiative are part of the activation of “Ta7wisha” programme to enhance women’s financial inclusion in the Egyptian villages. The rowing challenge will continue for 30 days, from mid-September till mid-October, through which the rowing team will pass by a number of stops in different governorates to showcase success stories, eco-friendly small and micro activities in the rural villages along the Nile.

The challenge sheds the light on several valuable activities and programmes including “Ta7wish” programme that is implemented by the National Council for Women as part of the national financial inclusion programme within the framework of the “National Family Development” project in the geographical scope of the presidential initiative “Decent Life”. “Ta7wisha” is implemented in partnership with the Central Bank of Egypt, UN Women Egypt, with the generous support of the European Union and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. It is also considered one of the largest economic development projects that aim at enhancing women’s economic and social empowerment through the digital savings and loans groups, including smart and green productive groups. Throughout the challenge, the supervisors and facilitators of “Ta7wisha” programme will highlight the objectives of the programme to women.  

Throughout its journey, “Rowing the Nile Challenge” will also seek to integrate green projects and call for having more of such projects to save the environment and promote just transition through improving the quality of life and taking into account the rights of future generations; in addition to the importance of linking these projects with the economic developmental projects such as “Ta7wisha” and promoting the technological angle of it in line with the government’s vision for digital transformation to have green, smart and cashless villages.

“Rowing the Nile Challenge” is considered the starting point for shedding the light on the importance of sports in empowering women and girls in the governorates and villages. It also features the beautiful touristic sites along the Nile.
